March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Screening Month
March 11 2022
Did you know that colorectal cancer is highly preventable and treatable when caught early?
If you are between the ages of 45 to 75 and have not had a colonoscopy within the last 10 years, speak to your primary care physician (PCP) about a referral. You can also ask your PCP about getting a simple test called a Fecal Occult Blood test or a FIT DNA test. It tests for the presence of blood in your stool.
