I just joined Amida Care as a new member. How do I find out about my benefits under the Life Your Life Plus Plan?

That’s easy. Complete a New Member Orientation to ensure your services are in place and to learn about what your health plan can offer you. This call can take around take 15-20 minutes to complete. Call Member Services at 1.800.556.0689 (TTY 711) and speak to a Member Services Representative. If you complete the New Member Orientation, you will be eligible to receive $20 Healthy Rewards incentive.

I lost my Healthy Rewards gift card. How do I get a replacement?

Please call Member Services at 1.800.556.0689, and we will order you a new card. Once the order is placed, it will take 10-15 business days for you to receive your new card. Remember to immediately activate your new card and keep it in a safe place. Any balance on your previous card at the time of the replacement request will be transferred to the new card automatically.

I received a bill for seeing a doctor in the Amida Care network. What should I do?

For active Live Life Plus members, Amida Care pays doctors and hospitals directly for all in-network services. Please email us at member-services@amidacareny.org or call Member Services at 1.800.556.0689 (TTY 711), and we will take care of the bill.

I changed my primary care provider, and now my Amida Care identification card is not correct. How do I update this information?

Just call 1.800.556.0689 (TTY 711). Member Services can help you get a new ID card.  You will receive a new ID card within 7 to 10 business days. If you need to access care before you receive your new Amida Care ID card, you can use your Medicaid card or call Member Services and we will assist you.

I need a new provider directory. How can I get one?

For the most up-to-date provider information, please use our provider search tool;  email us at member-services@amidacareny.org; or call Member Services at 1.800.556.0689 (TTY 711) to request a print directory, and it will be mailed to you.

I need gender-affirming health care. Does Amida Care have educated providers who understand my special needs and will treat me with dignity and respect?
