At Amida Care, we strive to develop sound and innovative interventions that will enable our members to lead healthier lives and receive the services they need and deserve. Research initiatives, stringent evaluations, and quality improvement processes also allow Amida Care to achieve long-term cost savings without sacrificing quality of care.

In addition to presenting our work at national and international conferences, Amida Care shares its research, evaluation, and quality improvement efforts through abstracts, reports, and publications. Our most recent work has touched upon key populations and issues related to transgender health care, viral hepatitis, substance use, patient engagement and viral suppression, COVID-19, and weight and body image.  To learn more about our work, click here.

Our research has had an impact on treatment adherence interventions that lead to viral suppression, increasing the role of community health workers as an integral part of the care teams, and finding ways to improve prevention and care engagement for high-risk members.

Amida Care also has an impact on many chronic conditions that it continuously assesses for each of our members ensuring timely and appropriate use of health care services and better health outcomes by ensuring primary prevention and screening services, needed cancer care, chronic disease management, with specific discussions of diabetes, hypertension, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and mental health.
